Troops Made Get Up & Go a Big Success!!!!
Honorary Chairman, Craig Virgin, takes a moment to
pose with the scouts and leaders that help put on Saturday's Get Up & Go
Kickoff Event. The Boy Scouts from Troop 553 prepared all the
participants for the opening flag ceremony and helped lead the charge on
the 1.5 mile walking path.
The “Trail Blazers” ; Samuel Wagner from Boy
Scout Troop 553; Cubmaster, Stephen Connolly and Cub Scouts, Tyler
Connolly and Dylan Connolly from Pack 53 marking the 1.5 mile trail and
putting signs up during the early morning pre-event preparation.
The Girl Scouts from Troops 785, 765 and 720 not
only “walk the walked,” but also cleaned up the trail as part of their
service to the community project.
